Eye Exams were February 28, 2008 and first puppy shots and de-worming have been done as necessary. The reports from the new homes are good, puppies are doing great and are much loved. I've been getting requests to see pictures, so am loading some of the pictures I've received to date, hope to see more soon!

RTF Pup 1 - Saba - MDR1 Normal/Normal Saba (will be registered as CTC Amy's Early Morning Riser) is a companion girl in Issaquah, WA, possibly aspiring to some recreational agility. Her family reports: 3/8/08: She is doing great! Did fine on the ride home, made herself right at home when we got here, exploring the house. She's perfectly happy as long as she's with one of us, but she seems to especially adore my husband. Had her first herding experience this morning, taking the goats out to pasture, and she thought that was just the greatest thing ever. She really wants to be friends with the cats but they are avoiding her as much as possible. She's peeing and pooping outside, every time we take her out. We love her. 3/14/08: As an update, Saba is doing wonderfully. She's quite lively when she wants to be and her herding instincts are kicking in. That blue ball that she wanted nothing to do with last week now gets chased all over the house. Her favorite resting place is still wherever someone else happens to be. Thanks again for letting us adopt such a terrific dog! Saba got to meet her dad recently: 
7/11/08: [Saba is] Very outgoing and energetic, friendly to people and other dogs. Plays well with every breed from Boston Terriers to Bull Mastiffs. Eager to obey except sometimes when she thinks having her way might be more fun. Terrible kleptomaniac! 8/11/08 MDR1 test came back Normal/Normal. . . She is drop-dead gorgeous now, and with so much "presence" and drive, she stops traffic wherever she goes. I can't wait to start her on agility because she's incredibly strong and athletic. I think she'll do well, but we are still working on being consistently obedient. She is still a thief. :) |
RMF Pup 2 - Minx is a happy companion girl in Texas. I'm hoping to receive new pictures soon. Her family reports: 4/9/08: "Minx" is doing just great! Over the last couple of days, Millie has begun teaching Minx to run circles and Minx is teaching Millie how to wrestle. I took a ton of digital pics last night and I'll get you a couple as soon as I get them transferred to the computer.  8/11/08: Here's a pic taken in Alaska last month. Minx has simply morphed into a real beauty the past few weeks!!! |
 RTF Pup 3 - Ringo - This girl is a beloved family member in Massachusetts. Her family reports: 3/19/08: The kids love her and treat her with kindness. She gives them lots of kisses while playing. She was very happy to see them this morning and sad when we dropped them at school. I cannot wait until the ground thaws enough so we can install the fence around the back yard. She loves to run and almost got away from me twice. When outside now she is on a leash. We are working on name recall. She responds 60% of the time. . . . She is a wonderful addition to our family. My daughter now says she has a new sister, only with four legs. 4/16/08: We love her tons and she is very sweet. She loves going to puppy K class. . . This place loves aussies and one of their dogs won the Westminster cup this year for herding. Many of their dogs do well in competitions. They have lots of agility classes. She got a taste last night and loved it. She needs to improve with basic obedience first. She loves being outside. She also attends puppy daycare a few days a week while I work and loves that she plays all day. She is very smart and our vet calls her the genius dog and that we should get her a goat. . . Our vet thinks she is a beautiful dog and very healthy. . . . We have actually had people stop cars while we are walking and they get out and come meet her. I find this rather interesting, but Ringo likes to meet new people. |

RTF Pup 5 - Rosie - MDR1 Normal/Normal Rosie is doing great and happily settled in with her new family in Issaquah, WA. 3/14/08: Rosie is doing great. It's nice that we have the time to hang out with her, although we are definitely on her schedule. I am attaching some photos of her for your files. She really likes the belly flop.  8/10/08Hi Tina. Just thought you'd like to update your website of Rosie pictures. She's such a wonderful dog. Love her enthusiasm. Mary and Dave
